2019 Pro Bowl Wide Receiver Signs with the Ravens
Wide receiver Deonte Harty has played five seasons with the New Orleans Saints, and the Buffalo Bills. After helping the Bills by returning a 96-yard punt for a touchdown in a Week 18 win against the Miami Dolphins, Buffalo would go on to win the division after scrutiny from many sports reporters who said this team didn’t have a chance. After being eliminated by the Kansas City Chiefs during the AFC Divisional Round, a few weeks later on March 6th, the Bills decided to release the 2019 Pro Bowl wide receiver. After some time, Harty just signed with the Baltimore Ravens on a one-year deal.
Deonte Harty played his college career at a Division II school, Assumption University. He holds multiple school records and Division II records. After four seasons of college ball, Harry decided to declare for the 2019 NFL Draft but would go undrafted and sign with the New Orleans Saints as a free agent. In March of 2023, the 2019 Pro Bowl wide receiver signed a two-year deal with the Bills.
Last season, the five-year wide receiver played in a career-high 16 games. The 2019 Pro Bowl wide receiver had 15 receptions for 150 receiving yards and two total touchdowns. He also fumbled the ball twice last season. His best game of the season was on October 8th. During a 25-20 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, Harty had two receptions for 62 yards. He’ll hope to have a much more productive 2024 campaign with the Ravens.
