A Presidential Honor: America Wins Presidents Cup

In a historic match, America clutched the Presidents Cup, proving itself to multiple other nations. They took the Presidents Cup, do you think he'll want it back? Joke aside, this is certainly a story of heroes. Underdogs, rising from the bottom to the top. Though national politics might seem bleak, at the very least, we have our fun and games to entertain ourselves. Now if only life was a game of golf, and our only concern was getting that elusive hole-in-one.

The infamous Scottie Scheffler, a recent hero, was on the winning team, as was Keegan Bradley, who sank the winning shot to defeat Si Woo Kim. Clearly, the players on the U.S. team will go down in history for this. In fact, the U.S. team has now won 10 Presidents Cups in a row. That's no easy feat. Say what you will about our country, but it clearly knows how to create good golf players. Golf is about more than just swinging a big metal stick at a ball: it takes peculiar talent. By winning the Presidents Cup, the U.S. team has proven itself, and the future for it looks bright.

One wonders what the future could possibly entail for Scheffler, Keegan, and our other heroes. Probably more of the same. If we have already won 10 Presidents Cups in a row, we can certainly win one more. It is difficult to tell when this “lucky” streak will end. Remember, though, that luck is a symptom of hard work. The future is uncertain, but it seems bright. We have to watch the winning team carefully in the days to follow. This may only be the beginning of good things to come.

It certainly looks like the members of America's golf team are all presidential in their own right. They are czars of the golf club, greats of the golf course. Those who see them in action will be inspired to write golf stories of their own. The game is changing as we speak, and these players are the impetus for such change. It's a world of golf, and today, the American team are the kings.
