Best Super Bowl Bets

NFL

The Super Bowl is three days away, so it’s only right to get ahead and figure out the best bets for Sunday. These are, without a doubt, the two best teams in the NFL this season, and it feels right for this to be the matchup. Jalen Hurts played near-perfect last Super Bowl but could still not take down the formidable Kansas City Chiefs. Will the Chiefs three-peat and cement themselves as one of the greatest dynasties in any sport, or will the Eagles be able to slay the dragon? Below, I will give my thoughts on this Sunday's best game lines, props, and parlays.

For game lines, this game is nearly a pick’em, with the Chiefs having a slight advantage at negative one and a half.. This is my favorite game line, along with the over at 48.5. It is hard not to put money on the Chiefs, as they have proved to everyone they show up in these games. In the previous Super Bowl where these teams played, Patrick Mahomes played with a bum ankle and could still tear off a long run with under three minutes left to help the Chiefs secure victory. The recipe for success with the Eagles will be controlling the clock and running Saquon Barkley. Looking at the numbers, the Chiefs, under defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo, haven’t allowed a 100-yard rusher in the postseason. On top of that, they have an 18-game streak without allowing a 100-yard rusher. If the Chiefs can hold Saquon under 100 yards, it will be difficult to see a path of victory for the Eagles. That said, Jalen Hurts will most certainly show up for this game, as last time he threw for over 300 yards. The score of the previous Super Bowl between these teams was 38-35, the third-highest-scoring Super Bowl ever. I see more of the same and believe the over at 48.5 should be on your betting slips.

Player props will be tricky in this game as both defensive coordinators have experience and will likely want to eliminate certain players from this game. That said, the playmakers on both sides are so dynamic that there are several to look at. The first one is Jalen Hurts, over 211.5 passing yards, as I previously mentioned, he threw for over 300 in his last Super Bowl. Predicting that this will be a high-scoring affair means that Jalen Hurts will have to be able to throw the ball to win this game. I like two receiving props, DeVonta Smith over 52.5 and JuJu Smith-Schuster over 15.5. DeVonta Smith frequently lines up in the slot, which has been the biggest weakness for this Chiefs defense. DeVonta Smith also torched them last Super Bowl, getting seven catches for 100 yards; look for more of the same. JuJu Smith-Schuster hasn’t been an integral part of this Chiefs offense since coming back, but he has proven that he can be trusted in these big games, as in the last game, he went for 60 yards. He is one of the best blocking receivers the Chiefs have, which means he will see the field throughout the game. It can also be noted that in the last Super Bowl against this Eagles team, he had seven catches for 53 yards and nine targets. Now, he won’t be seeing that same target share, but 15.5 yards is too low for someone Andy Reid most certainly wants to be a part of this game.

The parlay of the game is simple; don’t overthink it. Travis Kelce, anytime touchdown, and Kansas City Chiefs' fourth-quarter winner and over 48.5. Travis Kelce has scored in two out of four Super Bowls, including the one against the Eagles. He was their leading receiver that game, with 81 yards, looking open every time Patrick Mahomes needed someone. Travis Kelce will most certainly find his way into the endzone on Sunday. The next leg is for the Chiefs to win the fourth quarter, currently at -115. The Chiefs had to come back in the last Super Bowl and outscored them 17-8 in the fourth quarter. This seems like the path the Chiefs always take, and it is a part of the reason Patrick Mahomes looks so formidable. We all know what will happen in the fourth quarter when the Chiefs get the football. The last leg has already been mentioned but is over at 48.5. Both these defenses are great, along with both defensive coordinators. Although that may be true, the playmakers, along with the offensive minds, are going to prove why they are great at what they do. Both quarterbacks will show up and play their best games, along with those great playmakers doing their thing.

Super Bowl Sunday is just about here, and this is one of the more exciting Super Bowl matchups we have seen recently. Both quarterbacks are great, two winning coaches, great defensive coordinators with great defenses behind them, and dynamic playmakers like Saquon Barkley and Travis Kelce. This game will, without a doubt, be exciting, with plenty of points and game-changing plays on both sides. Look for these bets to put into your betting slips so you can walk away on Sunday with more money in those pockets.
