Big Game Gabe Signed with the Jaguars

NFL

Wide receiver Gabe Davis has played the first four seasons of his career with the Buffalo Bills, and with the Bills falling to the Kansas City Chiefs during the NFL’s Divisional Round, Davis officially became a free agent. Big-Game-Gabe is only 24 years old and will be looking to take his game to the next level. It was just announced that Gabe has just agreed to a three-year deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars This is the perfect opportunity for the four-year wide receiver to make the next big step and earn his first Pro Bowl opportunity.

Davis committed to play college football at the University of Central Florida. Davis was awarded to the second team All-ACC in 2018, and first team All-ACC in 2019. He played three seasons there before declaring for the NFL Draft. Buffalo selected Big-Game-Gabe in the fourth round with the 128th selection in the 2020 NFL Draft. Since being drafted, Gabe has set a playoff record for most receiving touchdowns in one game with four during the 2021 Divisional Round matchup against the Chiefs.

Last season, Big-Game-Gabe played in all 17 games with the Bills. With 45 receptions, Davis had 746 receiving yards, and seven receiving touchdowns. He caught and ran for 100-plus yards in three different matchups during the 2023 season. Ultimately, his best of the season had to be against the Los Angeles Chargers. In a 24-22 victory, Gabe had four catches for 130 yards and a touchdown. He’s certainly looking to consistently become more of a factor each week. Now, with the Jags, he’ll certainly have that opportunity.
