Biggest Disappointments of the NBA Season So Far
The NBA has been in full swing for over a month. There is a ton of time for teams to figure it out, but so far there have been some teams that are hitting the panic button. Many of these teams have fallen way under expectation and it’s time to readjust. Here are the teams that have missed their mark thus far.
Philadelphia 76ers
This one is not a shock to anyone. The 76ers have consistently knocked on the door of making a championship run and now everything is falling apart. Even with the addition of Paul George in the offseason, the 76ers cannot manage to stay healthy and figure out their identity. They currently sit at the second-worst record in all of basketball and need their stars to gel and stay on the court to fix things fast.
New Orleans Pelicans
Here is another team that has been riddled with injury. The Pelicans went to take the next step in the offseason, adding Dejounte Murray. However, he has been hit by the injury plague that has caught nearly the entire Pelicans rotation thus far this season. New Orleans desperately needs to get healthy and figure out their rotation before it’s too late.
Minnesota Timberwolves
The Timberwolves have not been bad by any means, but they do not look as sharp as they did last season. As a team that just made a trip to the Western Conference Finals, they broke up their chemistry by trading Karl-Anthony Towns. This team does not look as put together and now it begs the question was it a bad move to break up a roster that was one series away from the championship? The Timberwolves have time to figure it out sitting at an even record, but they are on serious watch after a bold offseason.
