After Watson left, Chubb scored on fourth and goal to get Cleveland on the board.
In the second half, Burrow found his top two targets for a pair of touchdowns. He found wide receiver Ja'marr Chase for an 18-yard touchdown on a back shoulder fade. He connected with wide receiver Tee Higgins to extend the Bengals’ lead to 21-6 late in the third quarter. It was a scoreless fourth quarter until Jameis Winston checked in for Cleveland and hit tight end David Njoku in the end zone. The ensuing two-point try was converted and it became a 21-14 game. The Bengals easily recovered the onside kick to hold off the Browns and handed them their fifth straight loss.
