Browns vs. Eagles Game Recap

The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Cleveland Browns 20-16 on Sunday afternoon at Lincoln Financial Field. Deshaun Watson passed for 168 yards with no touchdowns. Cleveland has yet to crack 20 offensive points this season. Watson has yet to crack 200 passing yards as well. Jalen Hurts went 16 of 25 for 264 yards and two touchdowns.

Hurts located A.J. Brown for the game’s first touchdown late in the second quarter. Myles Garrett had his second career blocked field goal late in the quarter. Rodney McLeod recovered the block and returned it back to tie the game heading into halftime. The touchdown by McLeod was his second of the season.

After exchanging a pair of field goals, Hurts burned the Browns’ secondary and connected with the former Heisman winner DeVonta Smith on a 45-yard touchdown pass. Watson took the Browns’ offense into the red zone late in the fourth quarter and settled for a field goal. The Eagles picked up a pair of first downs to run out the clock. The Eagles’ defense had six sacks prior to this game and had five sacks on the day.
