Browns vs. Raiders Game Recap
The Las Vegas Raiders defeated the Cleveland Browns at home, 20-16, in Week Four. Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson went 24-32 and threw for 176 yards and a touchdown. Raiders quarterback Gardner Minshew went 14-24 and threw for 130 yards. Wide receiver Jerry Jeudy caught six passes for 72 yards.
Watson started off the game 11 for 12 passing to lead the Browns to a 10-0 start. From that point on, the Raiders scored 20 unanswered points, capped off by a touchdown run by running back DJ Turner. On the first play of the fourth quarter, running back Zamir White fumbled the football, and safety Rodney McLeod Jr took a scoop and scored to the house to get Cleveland back in the game. The two teams traded punts until the final drive of the game.
On the final drive, running back Jerome Ford took a carry on the outside for 35 yards to get the Browns into the Raiders’ territory. A few plays later, on fourth and three, after calling a timeout, Watson ran out of the pocket and could not even get a throw-off, thus ending the game. The Browns were outgained in rushing yards, 152-92. Cleveland takes on the Washington Commanders next week while Las Vegas plays the Denver Broncos.
