Can AJ Styles Get His Revenge On the WWE Champion and Force Him to Say Two Infamous Words “I Quit”?

WWE

This past Friday on SmackDown, the Undisputed WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes challenged AJ Styles to an I Quit match at the Clash at the Castle this upcoming Saturday, June 15th. After “The American Nightmare” defeated Styles at Backlash in Lyons, France it seemed like the feud between the two died down. However with rumors swirling, two Fridays ago, “The Phenomenal One” appeared to look like he was going to retire. Styles got the OC back together for one more time and asked for the WWE Champion to come out to the ring. Rhodes came out, Styles lifted the champion’s hand, and then repeatedly beat on "The American Nightmare” along with OC members Luke Gallows, and Karl Anderson holding back any referees from interfering.

“The American Nightmare” is now a little more than 60 days into his reign as Undisputed WWE Champion. He’s been great as champion, defending his title at every premium event thus far. Rhodes first “Finished The Story” by beating Roman Reigns at WrestleMania XL to win the title, after, he defeated Styles on May 4th at Backlash, then defeated “The Maverick” Logan Paul on May 25th at the King and Queen of the Ring Tournament. Styles has been hungry and is looking to wear that WWE Championship around his waist for one last time. This past year, “The Phenomenal One” feuded with LA Knight. Although Styles lost at WrestleMania XL against LA Knight, he defeated the megastar on SmackDown to become the number-one contender to face Rhodes at Backlash. Since then, Styles has had his full attention on the Undisputed WWE Champion.

As champion, Rhodes has made a few enemies already. Styles is one of them, but a soon-to-be returning Rock is another. The OC will certainly try to be involved in “The Phenomenal One’s” match during Clash at the Castle. Will their interference help or hurt Styles? “The American Nightmare” will have to watch his back on every occasion this upcoming Saturday. The big question everyone has in mind is will AJ Styles get his revenge on the WWE Champion and make him say those two infamous words “I Quit”?
