Cowboys Three Round Mock Draft

NFL

The NFL Draft is approaching in less than two days. More certifiable reports on who players are planning on taking are expected to come as we get closer to the Titans being on the clock. Dallas has several needs including wide receiver, running back, offensive line and defensive line. The Cowboys are a team many fans are waiting to see who they will pick. Dallas has three top 80 selections and here are some predictions on some good fits for the Cowboys with those selections.

Round One Pick 12 - Tetairoa McMillan WR Arizona

Many speculate the Cowboys will draft an offensive playmaker in the first round this year. While a running back may be a more pressing need, Tet McMillan is too talented to pass up on here. McMillan is extremely productive with 84 receptions and 1,319 and eight touchdowns. The Cowboys have taken a wide receiver high in the draft before with players like CeeDee Lamb and Dez Bryant. The Arizona product is listed at 6’5” 215 pounds and has a perfect outside skill set to pair with CeeDee Lamb, who is great underneath. Many consider Matthew Golden to be penciled in here, but Jerry Jones often goes against the chalk.

Round Two Pick 44 - Quinshon Judkins RB Ohio State

Dallas wasn’t able to grab a running back in round one, but can land a true bell cow here at 44. Quinshon Judkins is a powerful runner, but is agile for his size at six feet, 200 pounds. The Cowboys have some pieces in their running back room next season in Miles Sanders and Javonte Williams, but both will likely have a rotational role next season. Judkins fits the power run scheme that Brian Schottenheimer and Klayton Adams want to run in year one under their new regime.

Round Three Pick 76 - Alfred Collins DT Texas

The Cowboys were not physical in the trenches last season and often got bullied against elite rushing attacks. Alfred Collins is a sound run defender and can collapse the pocket. Collins also showed his ability to rise under pressure when he had ten tackles over two games in the college football playoff during Texas’s run. The Cowboys get to keep a big talent and state while also filling a big need on their defensive line.
