Early Contenders to Win the Men’s Elimination Chamber

WWE

Last night’s Royal Rumble premium live event was nothing short of amazing. We saw some huge names make both their debuts and returns to the Royal Rumble matches. Some results were quite shocking and some were meant to be, but overall, the 2025 Royal Rumble was an event to witness last night. Looking forward, the Elimination Chamber in Toronto is now less than a month away and there are so many questions to be asked. Who will compete in the chamber matches and who will win? The Road to WrestleMania has officially been kicked off after an amazing Royal Rumble last night.

John Cena

Entering the Royal Rumble last night at No. 23, John Cena ended up making it to the final two with “Main Event” Jey Uso. Both of them went over the top rope and battled it out on the ring apron. While it looked like Cena was going for the match-ending Attitude Adjustment, Uso slipped out of it and pushed Cena off the ring apron to hit the floor, which resulted in Uso winning the 2025 Royal Rumble. After letting his final Royal Rumble sink in, he didn’t feel like answering any questions from the media on the Post Show and just went straight to the point. Cena declared his entry into the Elimination Chamber match. He said that he intends to win the Elimination Chamber, head into WrestleMania, and win his 17th World Championship because that is what’s “best for business.” Cena certainly now has a huge chip on his shoulder after finishing runner-up in the Royal Rumble, so does that mean he’ll win the Elimination Chamber and win his 17th World title at WrestleMania?

CM Punk

After eliminating two of the biggest names from the Royal Rumble last night, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, CM Punk was immediately eliminated by Logan Paul shortly after, which sent wrestling fans into disarray after hoping that Punk would win to go on and main event WrestleMania. The question now is, how will CM Punk get to the main event of WrestleMania even though he didn’t win the Rumble? Just maybe he’ll win the Elimination Chamber and get to do so. Punk entered the Rumble last night at No. 24, right after Cena, and made it to the final four. Punk still has the favor that Paul Heyman owes him, maybe it’s a straight shot to the main event of WrestleMania, you never know.

Jacob Fatu

In recent weeks, Jacob Fatu has been nothing short of impressive. He took down Braun Strowman at Saturday Night’s Main Event last week and put on an impressive showing in the Royal Rumble last night, even though he was eliminated by Strowman, who was seeking revenge. This past Friday on SmackDown, he had his way on the microphone with SmackDown’s newest addition, Damian Priest, talking about how he’s been making a name for himself on the blue brand. It’s possible that Fatu could be a name in the Elimination Chamber who wins it. I’m sure that Fatu wants to make a name for himself in some way by winning the chamber and going on to WrestleMania to win the title from Cody Rhodes to avenge Solo Sikoa for losing the Tribal Combat match to Roman Reigns.
