Fantasy Football: Biggest Risers After Week Three

NFL

As the NFL is in the swing of things three weeks into the season, some teams have found their groove, while others are quite the opposite. With a few games under the belt, fantasy managers can feel the production from players going forward. After an explosive week, many names grew their stock. Here’s a look at some of the biggest risers after Week Three.

Carolina Panthers

With Andy Dalton at the head of the Carolina offense, everything looked revitalized. Unfortunately, Bryce Young seemed to be the problem and there are many valuable fantasy options on this team. Dalton was able to get seven different pass catchers the ball and generated four touchdowns for the Panthers, two of which came on the ground and two in the air. As long as Dalton mans this offense, the Panthers’ fantasy stock takes a huge rise.

Falcons’ Wide Receivers

Kirk Cousins has seemed to settle in properly with this Atlanta offense. The veteran quarterback is moving much better off of the injury and getting the ball to his playmakers. Drake London and Darnell Mooney have been the main beneficiaries, each getting 15 or more targets in the last two games. As long as Cousins continues to grow in this new system, the Falcons have a reliable fantasy offense.

Rashee Rice

There’s no questioning that Rashee Rice is the number one option in Kansas City. Rice and Patrick Mahomes have developed a connection in their short relationship together, giving Rice loads of volume. With the rushing game taking a hit from Isiah Pacheco going down with an injury, Kansas City drew up many more short plays to get the ball to Rice. His floor is incredibly high and his potential has no limits being the premier target for the best quarterback in the league.

Malik Nabers

Let’s give Malik Nabers his flowers. After a sketchy Week One, the rookie wide receiver has quickly propelled himself to fantasy stardom. Nabers generates the most targets and target share of any player in the league through three games. With the volume at an absurd rate and talent through the roof, Nabers’ stick continues to climb.

Kyren Williams

With the amount of Rams’ injuries, you would think it would have a negative effect on Kyren Williams. In fact, it was the complete opposite. The Rams depended on him more than ever, giving him the ball 26 times, 11 of which were in the red zone. Williams was able to get in the end zone three times and is the one sure-fire weapon the Rams have for the next several weeks

Dallas Goedert

After an explosive Week Three, Dallas Goedert moves to the number one overall tight end. With the Eagles wide receivers’ injuries stacking up, Goedert will certainly gain more demand for this Philadelphia offense. He is coming off of a 10-catch, 170-yard game, with a massive catch that won the Eagles the game. The Eagles should look to lean on him more with both A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith injured.
