Five Wrestlers Who Can Be World Champion in 2025

WWE

5. Karrion Kross

While he still may not be that over with the crowd yet, Karrion Kross has shown he can be a superstar. Social media has been saying that Kross is insanely underrated because of his character work and his promo skills. The leader of The Final Testament even became the first person to pin Uncle Howdy and defeat The Wyatt Sick6 in a match. That could be a sign that he is on the cusp of gaining his first World Championship.

4. Jacob Fatu

While it may sound like it’s too fast, Jacob Fatu had all the hype in the world when he came into WWE, and he is living up to it. If anything, he is exceeding the hype. The Samoan Werewolf has been a dominating force as the enforcer of The New Bloodline. If his Tribal Chief, Solo Sikoa, will not be champion, Fatu most certainly will.

3. Bron Breakker

In less than a year, one of the most dominant NXT Champions is already a two-time Intercontinental Champion, and Bron Breakker has been showing he can hang with veterans such as Sheamus, Sami Zayn, and more. He has become a huge fan favorite with his powerful move set and terrifying speed. He has been predicted to be a WrestleMania main-eventer. While that may not be next year, it’s going to happen sooner than later, and it will involve a world title.

2. Kevin Owens

Kevin Owens has been doing some of the best work in his 10 years with WWE. It’s hard to believe that Owens has not held a Singles Championship since 2017 and a World Championship since 2016. Now, he is almost completely unhinged and has finally introduced his Package Piledriver on Saturday Night’s Main Event on WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. It's time to give this man what he deserves, and that is a World Championship.

1. Finn Bálor

Finn Bálor has not held a World Championship since he became the inaugural Universal Champion in 2016. Unless you count his second NXT Championship reign as a world title reign, then it has been almost four years. His last singles title reign was a United States Title run in 2022. Recent reports revealed that Bálor has officially become a locker room leader, and he is set to have a big push in 2025. His time on the Judgement Day seems to be numbered, and now that he has lost the World Tag Team Championships to the War Raiders, it seems he is set to become a singles star once again. A world title in 2025 seems inevitable for The Prince.
