Golf 2025 Player Prediction: Scottie Scheffler

There was a good balance of surprise wins, dominant performances, heartbreaks, and life-changing moments in the professional golf world in 2024. We had players go on historic runs, players reach new highs, and players reach new lows. These professional golfers gave the fans a little bit of everything in 2024, so what can we expect from them in 2025? Who will win the 2025 Majors? Will someone dominate the year? Whose game will fall off? Here is the 2025 Player Prediction for Scottie Scheffler.

Official World Golf Ranking: Number One

Wins: Seven - Arnold Palmer Invitational, Players Championship, Masters Tournament, RBC Heritage, Memorial Tournament, Olympic Gold, Tour Championship

Major Wins: One - Masters Tournament

2024 Summary

There's not much more to say about Scheffler’s historic year that hasn’t already been said. Seven wins, including a major, a gold medal, and the Tour Championship, easily put you in the “best year ever” talks. He accomplished all that while becoming a father and getting arrested. Sprinkle the President’s Cup trophy and close to $30 million in prize money on top of that. Scheffler ranked first in shots gained total, first in approach play, first tee to green, and the list goes on. The 2024 season for Scottie Scheffler was as good as it’s ever going to get for a professional golfer.

2025 Prediction

It would be almost impossible for anybody to replicate a year that Scheffler had in 2024, but if any current player could, it would be him. The stats don’t lie, and according to them, Scheffler played the best golf this year, and that might not change in 2025. He’s as consistent a player as you could ask for, and while his putting can sometimes hinder him, his ball striking is so good that he doesn’t really need to rely on great putting week-to-week. My prediction for Scottie Scheffler’s 2025 is five-plus wins, contending and possibly winning the Masters and U.S. Open, and finishing the year as the number-one ranked golfer again.
