At the 2024 Majors, he finished tied for 30th at the Masters, tied for 26th at the PGA Championship, tied for 26th at the U.S. Open, and missed the cut at the Open Championship. His best finishes were runner-ups at the Traveler’s Championship and the Hero World Challenge. The 22-year-old finished the year ranked 64th in strokes gained total, 52nd in strokes gained tee to green, 74th in strokes gained off the tee, 49th in strokes gained on approach shots, and 114th in strokes gained putting. The young Republic of Korea native has played two events so far in 2025. He played the Sony Open in Hawaii where he finished tied for 65th and the American Express where he missed the cut. If Tom Kim wants to take the next step in his career, he is going to have to be more consistent week to week and needs to be in contention more often, especially at the Majors.
