Golf 2025 Player Prediction: Tommy Fleetwood

The 2024 season in men’s professional golf was filled with a mix of unexpected victories, dominant performances, tough setbacks, and career-defining moments. We saw players make historic runs, reach new heights, and face some challenges along the way. The players provided fans with a bit of everything throughout the year, so what can we anticipate for 2025? Who will take home the 2025 Major trophies? Will anyone outright dominate the year? Which players might struggle? Which players will ascend to new heights? Here is the 2025 Player Prediction for Tommy Fleetwood.

Official World Golf Ranking: Ninth

Wins: One - Dubai Invitational

Major Wins: None

2024 Summary

Despite only one win on the year, Fleetwood had a solid 2024 campaign, staying consistent and finishing in the top 10 nine times, including a silver medal in the Paris Olympics and a tie for third in the Masters. His ball striking and iron play have always been top-notch, and he continued to impress off the tee. That first win on the PGA Tour continues to elude Fleetwood, but he’s putting himself up there week in, week out, missing the cut only twice out of 19 events played on tour. The Englishman finished 11th in driving accuracy percentage, ninth in scrambling from 10-20 yards, and second in scrambling from the rough. Fleetwood is currently ranked ninth in the official world golf rankings.

2025 Prediction

Tommy Fleetwood has the skill set to win any event he tees it up at and is always on the brink of a massive year. 2025 is no different. He should be in form going into the new year, with his worst finish being a tie for 22nd since August 2024. His consistency, scrambling ability, and calm demeanor should keep him in contention wherever he plays, and he should be able to break into the PGA Tour winner’s circle soon enough. My prediction for Fleetwood’s 2025 is at least one total win, including his first win on the PGA Tour, competes in at least two Majors, likely the Masters and the Open Championship, automatically qualifies for the European Ryder Cup Team, and finishes the year in the top 15 in the official world golf rankings.
