Jon Jones, Alex Pereira, and Many More Are Among the Names of Fighters We Want to See in 2024

UFC

Jon Jones, Alex Pereira, and Tom Aspinall are some of the most exciting fighters in the UFC, yet none of them have a fight/opponent scheduled for an upcoming UFC event. Now that UFC 301 is over, it is time for the UFC to give the fans the fights they want. Although fans understand that Dana White wants to schedule Jon Jones vs Stipe Miocic but hasn’t provided a new date. Jones hasn’t fought in over a year and given his age it’s safe to say that he doesn’t have many fights left. After UFC 300, Dana White was asked about Alex Pereira wanting to move up to Heavyweight and he said, “The Heavyweight division is nasty. I don't know if that's the right move." In my opinion, if the number four ranked pound-for-pound fighter wants to fight right after UFC 300, and he wants to move up to Heavyweight you should be endorsing it. If fans could convince Dana to change his mind, here are some fights fans want to see in 2024.

Jon Jones vs Alex Pereira. In the minds of many fans and analysts, this would be the fight for the GOAT title. As of right now, Jones is the clear goat of the UFC, but if Pereira were able to beat him and become the first-ever three-division champion he would take over the goat title. Being the first-ever three-division champion with less than 15 fights would be a feat that would never be done again. Tom Aspinall vs Alex Pereira. I know I have used Periera’s name twice but just hear me out. During the UFC 300 post-fight conference, Pereira said he wanted to move up to the Heavyweight division. What better way to decide who to fight Jon Jones than having Periera and Aspinall face off in the main event of UFC 304?

Ilia Topuria vs Max Holloway. Topuria has been very vocal on social media trying to sell a fight between himself and Brian Ortega, but the fans aren’t buying it. Holloway is coming off the greatest knockout in UFC history, and given the momentum he has right now it only makes sense for Topuria to be his next opponent. Topuria has yet to defend his title, so he should not have the amount of power he claims to have right now. After Halloway knocked out Justin Gaethje, the camera panned to Topuria and he looked shaken up. Given both fighters' striking ability, Topuria and Halloway have the chance to provide one of the best fights of 2024.
