New Duo Crowned as WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions

This most recent episode of Monday Night Raw saw a total of six matches on the card, but the standout match was the main event. This main event match saw Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez challenge Bianca BelAir and Naomi for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. In Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez became the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions in an incredible match. This match saw Dominik Mysterio, in the Judgement Day faction, with Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, along with others, interfering and assisting the duo in bringing gold to their faction.

Liv Morgan is on her third reign as Tag Team Champion. All three reigns were with Raquel Rodriguez. She is also a two-time Women’s World Champion, Liv is also the inaugural Women’s Crown Jewel Champion, having defeated Nia Jax in November of 2024 for that privilege as part of her “revenge tour.” Liv Morgan was also the 2022 Women’s Money in the Bank winner. Raquel Rodriguez is on her fourth reign as Tag Team Champion. This includes three reigns with Liv Morgan and one reign with Aliyah. Raquel is also an NXT Women’s Champion and had two reigns with Dakota Kai as NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion.

Liv Morgan, Bianca BelAir, and Naomi are three of the six women set to be in the upcoming Elimination Chamber event this Saturday. Held in Toronto, the winner of the men’s and women’s Elimination Chamber matches will face Cody Rhodes and Rhea Ripley, respectively, at WrestleMania for their titles. Liv Morgan has plenty of history with Rhea Ripley. They were former friends, but they’d been enemies for a few years. Raquel Rodriguez is not in the Elimination Chamber.
