NFL Best Bets: Week Four

Detroit Lions -3.5 vs. Seattle Seahawks

The Detroit Lions are a battle-tested group. They hit hard on both sides of the ball. They haven’t given up more than 20 points in a game this season and they have the fourth most rushing yards as a team in the NFL. This team is going to control the clock and the ball all game long with Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery going to be heavily involved for Detroit. The Seahawks may be 3-0 in the young season, but they have had the benefit of an easy opening schedule. However, with this matchup, I’d expect the Lions to hand the Seahawks their first loss.

Pittsburgh Steelers -3 vs. Indianapolis Colts

The Steelers are rolling early on this season thanks to a terrifyingly strong defense and a solid complimentary offense. The Steelers have only committed one turnover all season on offense, while their defense has secured five turnovers for their offense. Meanwhile, Anthony Richardson and the Colts have thrown six interceptions. The Colts are too turnover-prone for the Steelers’ defense to not take advantage all game long. Expect this to be a low-scoring game with Justin Fields and the Steelers to come out on top.

Washington Commanders +3.5 vs. Arizona Cardinals

The Washington Commanders and Jayden Daniels are coming off a statement win against the Bengals in a primetime Monday Night Football thriller. This offense can move the ball down the field at an extremely efficient rate. The Cardinals have allowed over 30 points a game on average to opposing teams which the Commanders should take advantage of in this matchup. As long as the Commanders’ defense can keep Kyler Murray and the Cardinals’ offense at bay, the Commanders may be pitching their case early on as a threat in the NFC with a win.
