The Best NFL Team Spread Bets for Week One

NFL

As the start of the NFL regular season is right around the corner, people are eager to start betting on NFL football once again. The first week of the NFL season is always one of the weirdest weeks of the season with many teams bolstering new impact players that have the chance to make big differences for their respective teams. This is something that must be remembered as we look to start betting on these NFL teams. So who are the surefire pick teams for the first week of the NFL season?

Cincinnati Bengals -8.5 vs. New England Patriots

This Patriots team is not good. This offense may go down as the worst in the NFL this season as they have weak-skill position players and a lackluster quarterback with Jacoby Brissett at the helm. Meanwhile, the Bengals have one of the most dynamic offenses in the league. With Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, and Chase Brown, this offense is going to put up points. This Patriots defense is going to have some regression from last year with the loss of Matthew Judon. Look for the Bengals to run away with this game in their home opener.

Miami Dolphins -3.5 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jaguars looked very mediocre last year. Meanwhile, this Miami offense was incredibly dynamic with Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, De’Von Achane, and others. Regardless of the rosters in this matchup, the Dolphins have probably the greatest home-field advantage this time of year. With the positioning of the sidelines, look for the Jaguars sideline to be 20 degrees hotter than the Miami sideline, which will fatigue the Jaguars’ players. With the Dolphins bolstering the fastest lineup, potentially in NFL history, count on the Dolphins' offensive speed to put up a lot of points in this matchup.

Los Angeles Chargers -3 vs. Las Vegas Raiders

The Jim Harbaugh era in Los Angeles should get off to a good start in Week One. With Jim Harbaugh, expect this offensive line to move people and the running game to be extremely effective. Justin Herbert should be very efficient in this game, and I trust him to win this game more than I do Gardner Minshew. If the Chargers are as physically on both ends of the ball as I expect, then the Chargers should easily walk away from this game with a win.
