The Best NFL Team Spread Bets for Week Two

NFL

After an action-packed opening week of NFL football, everyone has now had a full week to overact to what they saw on Sunday. This has resulted in the betting markets changing a lot along with it. This has created opportunities for some people to take advantage of in Week Two. So, what are the teams to side with within the second week of the NFL season?

Los Angeles Chargers -5 vs. Carolina Panthers

The Chargers are coming off an ugly win against the Raiders last week. However, the Chargers showed that they are a tough team that is resilient under pressure. Additionally, the Chargers dominated on the ground last week, with J.K. Dobbins getting 135 rushing yards on only ten carries. Meanwhile, the Panthers' offense and defense were horrendous last week against the Saints. Expect the Panthers to continue to prove that they are the worst team in the NFL against the Chargers this week.

Washington Commanders -1.5 vs. New York Giants

The Commanders are going to prove decisively in this game that the Giants are the worst team in the NFC East. Jayden Daniels was a breath of fresh air to the Commanders' offense last week with his rushing production and efficiency through the air. Jayden Daniels still has a lot to improve, but at least he will be dynamic for the Commanders while the Giants continue to live with the regret of watching Saquon Barkley walk out the door. This Giants offense looked helpless without Saquon shouldering the load, and similar to the Panthers; they are wishing they took a quarterback in this most recent draft instead of being stuck with Daniel Jones.

Los Angeles Rams ML vs. Arizona Cardinals

The Rams went toe-to-toe with the Lions into overtime to open up the season. Even with Puka Nacua getting placed on IR, this Rams offense is still dynamic with Matthew Stafford, Cooper Kupp, and Kyren Williams. This Rams defense is young, and although they got run over by the Lions late in the game, this defense was still able to hold one of the most efficient offenses in the league last year to 20 points through the end of regulation. This Cardinals team isn’t going to be a threat to Sean McVay and the Rams this week in Arizona.
