The Viper vs. the Prizefighter: Who Wins This Personal Clash at WrestleMania?

Randy Orton and Kevin Owens are set to face each other at the Showcase of the Immortals. A personal rivalry between the two superstars has been going on since last year, and now the culmination of their feud will end on the biggest stage possible. This rivalry has seen Owens take Orton out with a piledriver, a banned move in the WWE, and Orton's triumphant return last month at the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event. Now, the former friends look to take each other out at WrestleMania.

Owens feels betrayed by his former friend because Orton took Cody Rhodes’ side in the American Nightmare’s feud with the New Bloodline. K.O. has a personal history with the Bloodline and does not like his friends aligning with his enemies. He took out his frustrations on his friends and went as far as to attack Orton backstage. This led to a match at Crown Jewel, which did not happen as both men attacked each other before the match could start. However, the biggest angle of this feud is when K.O. took out the Viper with the aforementioned move listed above, which kept the Apex Predator on the shelf for three months with a spinal cord injury.

After Owens defeated Sami Zayn in an Unsanctioned match at the Elimination Chamber, the former Legend Killer made his return to a loud ovation and took Owens out. Seeking vengeance on his former friend, Orton lined up to deliver a Punt Kick before the referees intervened, thus saving Owens for one night. Now, there will be no escape for Owens at WrestleMania as his actions have unlocked a Randy Orton that has not been seen in a long time. A new vicious, sadistic Orton has been unleashed, and all he wants is payback. These two former friends will go to war at WrestleMania, and the only question left is who will survive the aftermath?
