Three Matches Announced for NXT Roadblock 2025

WWE

There’s a lot to divulge from the February 25th episode of NXT. We saw NXT and TNA have another epic crossover with NXT Heritage Cup Champion Lexis King taking on TNA X Division Champion Moose. Also, the legendary Hardy Boyz composed of Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy faced No Quarter Catch Crew Tavion Heights and Myles Borne for the TNA Tag Team Championship. Throughout the course of the episode, three matches were announced NXT Roadblock on March 11th. The hype for Roadblock is already shaping up as this will be a cornerstone event before NXT’s version of WrestleMania in Stand & Deliver. With only three matches set thus far, we should certainly have a few more announced on next week’s episode of NXT. Let’s dive into what has been announced thus far.

Guilia vs. Stephanie Vaquer in a Winner’s Take-All Match

During the first match of the night, Stephanie Vaquer retained her NXT Women’s North American Championship against Karmen Petrovic. After her successful defense, NXT Women’s Champion Guilia came out to congratulate Vaquer. The NXT Women’s Champion told her friend they are both champions and that they need to find out who’s the better champion. Guilia announced at Roadblock these two women who have jumpstarted the NXT Women’s Division will go head to head in a winner’s take-all match. The winner of this match will walk out with both the NXT Women’s Championship and the NXT Women’s North American Championship. This is a huge, game-changing move by NXT and it officially has fans hyped for this matchup we’ve been waiting for since both Guilia and Vaquer signed with NXT. It’s going to certainly be interesting who wins this matchup and what the storylines look like heading into Stand & Deliver.

Oba Femi vs. Moose for the NXT Championship

Moose successfully defended his TNA X Division Championship in an epic battle against Lexis King. ‘The Ruler’ Oba Femi’s music hit and everyone in the crowd was anticipating what would happen next. Femi announced at Roadblock, that his NXT Championship will be on the line as we get the dream match in ‘The Ruler’ facing Moose. These two powerhouses going toe to toe is what everyone wants to see as these two are capable of doing so much in the ring. Both are over 6’3 and over 300 pounds, when these two square off, The Theatre at Madison Square Garden will erupt. Even though this will be a high-quality match, I can’t see Oba dropping his title this early, especially to someone within TNA. Both NXT and TNA want to keep their respective belts on their specific wrestlers, that’s why we haven’t seen anything risky occur between both companies with titles changing hands. Even though it would be absolutely wild to see Moose pull off the upset, I can’t see this happening.

The Hardy Boyz vs. Fraxiom for the TNA Tag Team Championship

During this past episode of NXT, the Hardy’s retained their TNA Tag Team Championship against No Quarter Catch Crew. When the match was still taking place, NXT Tag Team Champions Nathan Frazer and Axiom came out to watch the match. Once the match concluded, Fraxiom stepped into the ring with their idols. Frazer got a little bit too ahead of himself calling Fraxiom the best tag team in the world right in front of Jeff and Matt. This led to the two teams eyeing to see who could top the other. It was announced at Roadblock that the TNA Tag Team Championship will be on the line. If Fraxiom can get the win, does this give them the pop of the best tag team in the world? This is another dream match many have wanted to see, and with this match taking place, many want to know who will come out on top.
