Three Ways to Book Roman Reigns’ Return to WWE
We haven’t seen “The Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns since his heartbreaking loss at WrestleMania to the new and current WWE Universal Champion Cody Rhodes. A reign that lasted 1,316 days was snapped and now we’re in a new era in WWE. Many fans are starting to wonder when they’ll see “The Tribal Chief” again and what to expect when he makes his return to the squared circle. Triple H has got a lot on his plate now in regards to how to book Roman Reigns’ return to WWE, but I have some thoughts on the matter.
Roman Reigns Returns to Invoke His Rematch Clause Against Cody Rhodes for the WWE Universal Championship at SummerSlam
Both times these two have gone one-on-one in the ring have been on the grandest stage of them all at WrestleMania. Roman defeated Cody in the first go-round at WrestleMania 39 in Los Angeles. A year later, Cody finished his story and defeated Reigns at WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia. These two could settle the score once and for all at the party of the summer in Cleveland for the WWE Universal Championship one last time.
Roman Reigns Returns as a Babyface to Team Up with the Reunited Jimmy and Jey Uso to Take on the New Bloodline Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Tanga Loa in a Six-Man Tag Team Match at SummerSlam
The Raw after WrestleMania took a twisted turn for the Bloodline as Solo Sikoa took matters into his own hands and took out Jimmy Uso with the help of the newly debuted Tama Tonga. Fast-forward to Backlash a month later, Tanga Loa made his debut to help Solo and Tonga defeat Randy Orton and Kevin Owens. After Tonga is done with the King of the Ring tournament, it’ll be time to move on back to Bloodline business. In that case, Jimmy should make his return to get his revenge on the Bloodline for taking him out. Except, he won’t be alone, his brother Jey comes out with him to challenge Solo, Tama, and Tanga to a six-man tag team match at SummerSlam. Which then, their third partner will be none other than, the returning “Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns.
Roman Reigns Returns at SummerSlam to Cost “The Final Boss” The Rock His match for the WWE Universal Championship Against Cody Rhodes
The whole world has been dying and craving to see a match between Roman Reigns and his cousin, The Rock. This match could be three years in the making as people were speculating a Rock vs. Roman match at WrestleMania 39 a year ago. Then at WrestleMania 40, the match between the two was a sealed deal until Cody Rhodes came to his senses and challenged Roman Reigns for his title after winning the Royal Rumble for a second year in a row. During the Raw after WrestleMania, The Rock came out and told Cody Rhodes that he has to go away for a while but he’ll be back to challenge Cody for his title. That match could be at SummerSlam in Cleveland. Picturing it now, the main event of SummerSlam, Cody will look like he has The Rock beat, but then Roman’s music hits. He comes out with everyone on their feet thinking he’s going to help his cousin and attack Cody, but instead, he attacks The Rock to cost him the match, having Cody leave with the championship, which evidently creates the match the world has been waiting for. If there is a year and a time for The Rock to face Roman Reigns, it should be at WrestleMania 41 next year in Las Vegas.
