Time to Give Ludwig Kaiser the Push He Deserves?
After an impressive match against one of the most physical superstars to arrive on the scene in WWE, Bron Breakker, Ludwig Kaiser has definitely made a case for himself to be further pushed as a singles competitor. About three months ago, Kaiser attacked his former Imperium stablemate Giovanni Vinci after losing yet another tag team match. Kaiser walked backstage to tell Gunther, “You see that?... I told you I’d get it done.” Gunther looked happy with what Kaiser did as he gave him a smirk as Kaiser walked away. Since then, Ludwig Kaiser has been performing beyond our expectations as a singles competitor. Is it time for Kaiser to get a push towards something bigger?
Three weeks ago, Ludwig Kaiser picked up a roll-up pin victory over the “Celtic Warrior” Sheamus. Kaiser has proven time and time again that he’s capable of hanging with the big dogs in WWE. Even this past Monday on Raw in his match against Bron Breakker, Kaiser had Breakker beat until Sheamus came in and interfered with a knee to the face, causing a disqualification victory for Ludwig Kaiser. Even though Bron Breakker has been tearing through the competition since he arrived in WWE, Ludwig Kaiser gave him a run for his money with an impressive showing. Since Sheamus interfered in Kaiser’s match with Breakker, the only solution is for Kaiser to get another match against Sheamus where the winner will challenge Sami Zayn for his Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam. As made official on Raw, Sami Zayn will defend his Intercontinental Championship at Money in the Bank against Bron Breakker. One way to push Kaiser could be having him beat Sheamus once again to earn an opportunity to challenge for the Intercontinental Championship.
As of right now, there are two more spots left to fill in the Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match. So far “Main Event” Jey Uso, Carmelo Hayes, Andrade, and Chad Gable have all qualified for the ladder match already. Ludwig Kaiser should fill one of the two spots left. Putting Kaiser in the ladder match would give WWE an underdog superstar to possibly grab the briefcase at the end of the night. Another way to push Ludwig Kaiser could be having him climb the ladder, grab the briefcase, and earn the opportunity to challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship. Imagine this… Kaiser wins the briefcase at Money in the Bank and Gunther wins the World Heavyweight Championship against either Damian Priest or Seth Rollins at SummerSlam. Kaiser then proceeds to cash in on his former Imperium stablemate Gunther to win the World Heavyweight Championship. That would be a complete shocker to the entire WWE universe as the fans will go nuts.
