Two-Time Pro Bowl Cornerback Signs to the Rams

NFL

For the past seven seasons, two-time Pro Bowl cornerback Tre’Davious White has made the Buffalo Bills offense elite, which has helped this team consistently win the AFC East division, and make the postseason. This past season during a Week Four matchup with the Miami Dolphins, the 29-year-old cornerback tore his Achilles tendon. On March 14th, the Bills and White parted ways and gave the option for Tre’Davious to sign with a new team at the beginning of the new league year. Even though some time has passed the Los Angeles Rams have reached an agreement with White for one-year eight and a half million dollars.

Tre’Davious White played four seasons at LSU. With the Tigers, as a true freshman, White played in 13 games and had 11 starts. He finished the season with 55 tackles and two interceptions. Tre’Davious was selected to the All-SEC Second Team during his junior season in 2015, and to the All-SEC First Team in 2016. He was also a consensus All-American during his 2016 senior season as well. During the 2017 NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills selected the future two-time Pro Bowl cornerback with the 27th overall pick. He was the fifth cornerback taken in the draft thus far.

Due to his torn Achilles, White was limited to just four games. He had 12 combined tackles, ten of those being solo tackles, while the other two were assisted tackles. The two-time Pro Bowl cornerback also had one tackle for a loss of yardage, two pass deflections, and an interception. With the Rams, Tre’Davious hopes to revitalize his career, make another Pro Bowl game, and possibly appear in his first Super Bowl.
