What to Expect From Smackdown Tonight in Chicago

WWE

SmackDown in Chicago tonight should be interesting after what transpired this past Monday on Raw. Anytime the city of Chicago is mentioned in the WWE, one name comes to mind, CM Punk. He’ll be live in his hometown to address the WWE Universe on some news regarding his injury, hopefully good news. Will he also address Drew McIntyre quitting WWE after he screwed him over once again at Clash at the Castle? There will also be a few Money in the Bank Qualifying matches to determine who will be in the Money in the Bank ladder matches on July 6th. Everyone is wondering when the Wyatt Sicks will strike next. After their horrifying debut on Raw, who knows when they’ll strike next? Maybe it’ll be tonight, you never know. Following a grueling “I Quit” match, Cody Rhodes was attacked by the Bloodline. How will Cody respond?

CM Punk Live in His Hometown to Address the WWE Universe

We can always expect a huge pop every time CM Punk walks down to the ring, but in his hometown, the pop will be even louder. With a microphone in his hand, CM Punk will have a lot of things to get off his chest. Since Punk tore his tricep at the Royal Rumble earlier this year, he’s been healing and rehabbing like crazy to get back inside the ring. I’m sure he’ll give the WWE Universe an update on his condition and if he’s cleared to compete. He told Drew McIntyre a few months ago that as soon as he heals, he’s coming straight for him. If Punk is cleared, the first thing he’ll do is challenge McIntyre to a match at SummerSlam. It’s the match everyone wants to see and it’s what both of them want.

Money in the Bank Qualifying Matches

Three triple-threat qualifying matches will be taking place tonight on SmackDown to determine who will be in the Money in the Bank ladder matches. First up, we have Randy Orton vs. Carmelo Hayes vs. Tama Tonga. Next up, we have Kevin Owens vs. Andrade vs. Grayson Waller. To round it off, just announced by SmackDown general manager Nick Aldis, we have Bianca Belair vs. Chelsea Green vs. Michin. This past Monday on Raw, Iyo Sky qualified as well as “Main Event” Jey Uso

Will Uncle Howdy and the Wyatt Sicks Strike on Smackdown?

The whole WWE roster has been put on notice after what happened on Raw this past Monday. The SmackDown superstars will be on guard to ensure there won’t be any more attacks from the Wyatt Sicks on SmackDown. After announcing the addition of the women’s triple threat qualifying match, Nick Aldis stated that, “we have extra security on hand given the events of Monday night.” Will the Wyatt Sicks make their presence known on SmackDown tonight? For the safety of the superstars, hopefully not.

How Will Cody Rhodes Respond to the Bloodline’s Attack on Him After His Match at Clash at the Castle?

The WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes was attacked by the Bloodline following his exhausting “I Quit” match against AJ Styles. Last week on SmackDown, “The Wiseman” Paul Heyman said that until the “Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns comes back, Solo Sikoa is the new “Head of the Table.” It’s very clear that Solo wants the WWE Undisputed Championship back in the Bloodline, so he’ll stop at nothing to do so. How is Cody Rhodes going to respond to that? Will Randy Orton and Kevin Owens help Cody once again in this battle against the Bloodline?
