Who Will Snatch Both the Men’s and Women’s Money in the Bank Briefcase?

WWE

2024 Money in the Bank is just about here! On Saturday six men and six women WWE superstars will compete for the chance to cash in the acclaimed briefcase and get a title shot. Both the men’s and women’s matches are loaded and have one newly drafted rookie from NXT, who will hope to make their big break with a win in this grueling ladder match in Toronto, Ontario. In contrast, others are former champions hoping to regain former glory. The WWE World Heavyweight Championship and the WWE Intercontinental Championship will be defended in Toronto if a member of RAW wins the briefcase, we could possibly see them cash in that night against Damian Priest and Seth Rollins. This Money in the Bank premium live event should be unforgettable and will be career-changing for those who snatch the briefcase.

Women’s Money in the Bank Preview/Prediction

The women’s matchup has so much talent and all six can get the arena popping. Iyo Sky is looking to take back her Women’s WWE Championship which she lost to Bayley at WrestleMania XL, while someone like Lyra Valkyria is trying to break through and get her first title opportunity since being drafted to RAW. Valkyria was the runner-up in the Queen of the Ring Tournament and believes Money in the Bank is her opportunity to make a name for herself. Another young, and promising talent Tiffany Stratton has been looking to capture her first WWE Championship and establish herself as a dominant force on SmackDown. While Naomi, Chelsea Green, and Zoey Stark will bring a competitive edge, I personally see Sky, Valkyria, or Stratton as the top three competitors in this match. My prediction lies with Stratton, with her aligning herself with Nia Jax, I believe this will set up a Triple Threat match for the Women’s WWE Championship at SummerSlam, where she certainly has a high chance of winning.

Men’s Money in the Bank Preview/Prediction

Just like the women’s match, the men are all talented in their own rights with the match featuring newly drafted NXT star Carmelo Hayes, who’s looking to get his real first title opportunity. Then there’s Drew McIntyre, someone who’s been screwed over twice now and is coming with full force to snatch that briefcase. Another guy who’s coming with the intent to come out the winner is “Main Event” Jey Uso, who’s looking to get the push and finally become WWE World Heavyweight Champion. While LA Knight won his qualifying match, I don’t have much hope of him winning this match. With a highly engaged feud with Logan Paul, it’s most likely Paul will make an appearance and try to stop Knight in his track, this will lead to these two settling it out for the United States Championship at SummerSlam. Speaking of interferences, this match may have the most interferences in the history of the WWE. We could see Paul interfere alongside CM Punk, the newly formed Wyatt Sicks faction, and perhaps even Jimmy Uso. It would certainly be nice to see Jey or Knight get their well-deserved run as champion, but I’m predicting Drew McIntrye will come out like a madman, win the briefcase, and immediately cash in his briefcase in Priest’s title match against Rollins.
