Wide Receivers That Will Outperform Fantasy ADP

NFL

Deebo Samuel, San Francisco 49ers - WR23

Samuel has been a proven fantasy weapon and is simply getting undervalued going into this year. He has shown no signs of regression, finishing first in juke rate and fantasy points per route run. Even with a breakout year from Brandon Aiyuk, Samuel finished the WR12 in points per game, more than Aiyuk. From Week 10 on, Samuel finished third in points per game by a wide receiver, including four games over 20 points and two over 34. He continues to be one of the 49ers’ most dynamic players on offense and will show it once again in fantasy, especially if contract disputes continue with Aiyuk.

Chris Godwin, Tampa Bay Buccaneers - WR30

Godwin is coming off a down year by his standards, finishing as the WR28. However, he still had a target share that was only two percent lower than Mike Evans and had a top 10 route win rate. The main problem was with Godwin’s usage in the slot, which was down by a larger measure than it was in 2021 and 2022. Godwin finished as a top 20 receiver in those two seasons, and now with offensive coordinator Liam Coen mentioning Godwin will be back in a full-time slot role, he is in store for a bounce-back year. Even on a down year for Godwin, he outperformed his current WR30 ADP. Especially if he sees a positive touchdown progression from his two touchdowns last season, Godwin has major value in drafts.

Jayden Reed, Green Bay Packers - WR34

Reed was an explosive playmaker in his rookie year for the Packers. He was also incredibly efficient and developed a connection with quarterback Jordan Love throughout the season, ranking eighth amongst wide receivers in points per game from Week 10 on. He was extremely effective, ranking fourth amongst wide receivers in points per snap. If he is given a natural increase in snap share seen from a rookie year to year two, Reed could be in for a huge breakout. Being taken in round six or later in 12-team formats, Reed is in store to crush his ADP at WR34.

Curtis Samuel, Buffalo Bills - WR54

Samuel could be a major sleeper in fantasy, moving to Buffalo where 87% of the targets have been vacated from last year. He reunites with his old offensive coordinator, Joe Brady. The last season the two had together, Samuel finished as a top-25 fantasy receiver with Teddy Bridgewater at quarterback. Now, Josh Allen is throwing him the football, and the wide receiver room is up for grabs, setting him up with what could be a greater-than-expected fantasy season.
