Will L.A. Knight Win His First Singles Championship Against Logan Paul at SummerSlam?

WWE

We’re officially in the homestretch for the party of the summer as SummerSlam is less than a week away. With a stacked match card to be excited about, we wonder who’s going to return and which titles are going to change hands. With the match being made official on the July 19th edition of SmackDown, “The Maverick” Logan Paul will be defending his United States Championship against “The Megastar” L.A. Knight… YEAH!! This will certainly be a match you do not want to miss as this match will be taking place in Logan Paul’s hometown of Cleveland, Ohio. You also don’t want to miss this match because L.A. Knight could win his first Singles Championship in the WWE.

It’s safe to say that L.A. Knight has been a thorn in the side of Logan Paul for quite some time now as Knight is eyeing the United States Championship as his first Singles title in the WWE. L.A. Knight even went above and beyond and invaded Logan Paul’s house to swim in his pool just to get his attention on the June 14th edition of SmackDown. The animosity between the two has certainly increased as they’ve had several encounters on SmackDown in the past month or two. L.A. Knight has his case for facing Logan Paul because he pinned the champ to qualify for Money in the Bank a month ago. Paul is currently the longest-reigning Singles Champion in WWE, with a reign of 267 days. Will that reign be snapped by L.A. Knight at SummerSlam?

This past Friday on SmackDown, L.A. Knight went one-on-one with Santos Escobar after calling out Knight backstage last week. Knight picked up the win over Escobar even though Logan Paul attempted to cause a distraction towards the end of the match. As soon as Knight won the match, Paul immediately attacked Knight from behind with the help of Escobar and left him beaten down after a Frog Splash from the top rope. With one SmackDown remaining the night before SummerSlam, Logan Paul will be live in his hometown of Cleveland for a special homecoming as he gets in his final words before his title defense at SummerSlam. Will L.A. Knight come out to interrupt Logan Paul’s homecoming to say his final piece before the two clash? Will the two brawl it out one last time? SummerSlam is certainly going to be an event to remember this upcoming Saturday and you definitely don’t want to miss it.
