Will We See Mr. Yeet in the Bank?

WWE

This past Monday on RAW, “Main Event” Jey Uso declared himself for the 2024 Money in the Bank ladder match. If he wins this match on July 6th, he can officially challenge a WWE champion during a title match and get another shot at wearing some gold around his waist. This would make Uso; Mr. Yeet in the Bank. There will certainly be another WWE superstar or two that will stand out and could win the briefcase, but Jey certainly has the prowess to be the guy to climb the top of the ladder and become the new Money in the Bank holder. How will we see this play out? Can the younger Uso brother win the briefcase and finally win a singles championship, or will it be time to take the “Main Event” tag off of Jey Uso?

Jey is certainly one of the wrestlers that all the fans enjoy seeing, not only on the RAW brand but the entire WWE roster. His story of wanting to win a singles championship with no one’s help, facing a bunch of heels on the roster, and becoming a “Main Event” icon has shaped the younger Uso brother to be one of the most likable wrestlers in the world today. Last month at Backlash, Uso lit up the entire arena as everyone in the audience began to “yeet” to his entrance music. It’s been tough for Jey as he’s lost in every singles title opportunity he had. Since last year, “Main Event” Jey Uso lost at SummerSlam to Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Championship. He failed to take away the Intercontinental Championship from Gunther and lost to Damian Priest at Backlash for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

If he were to win the 2024 Men’s Money in the Bank briefcase, that would prove that Jey has what it takes to be on the singles main stage. Whether he challenges Priest, Gunther, or even Drew McIntyre for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, there is a possibility Jey could head to SmackDown. It would be an extremely wild but interesting scenario if “Main Event” Jey Uso somehow takes on his former tag team partner “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship. What do you think about Jey Uso’s odds? Will we see him become a singles champion by the end of 2024?
