WWE Bad Blood 2024 Predictions

WWE

WWE will be hosting Bad Blood for the first time since 2004 in Atlanta, GA, on October 5th. This will count as only the fourth Bad Blood event for WWE. The first is known for having the first Hell in a Cell match between The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels. As well as the historic debut of The Big Red Machine Kane.

CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre - Hell in a Cell

Easily the most anticipated match on the card and most likely the main event, the arguable Feud of the Year will most likely come to an end inside of the Soul Stealing Structure. The feud between Drew McIntyre and CM Punk has been boiling since the 2024 Royal Rumble after McIntyre injured Punk’s arm after a Future Shock DDT. CM Punk has been interfering in McIntyre’s moments ever since WrestleMania, costing him the World Heavyweight Championship three times. They finally faced each other at SummerSlam with Seth Rollins as the special guest referee, making it CM Punk’s first televised WWE singles match in 10 years. McIntyre got the win after Punk was so fixated on getting back the friendship bracelet with his wife and dog’s name on it. Drew stole it after beating him down in his hometown in Chicago after Punk cost him the World Championship in McIntyre’s home country of Scotland at Clash at the Castle. Punk got his win and the bracelet back in Bash in Berlin in a Strap Match. Drew then destroyed the bracelet, and it was announced they would see each other one more time inside Hell in a Cell. It is hard to see CM Punk not get the win here because he needs a clean, decisive victory over McIntyre for them to finally move on.

Winner - CM Punk

Liv Morgan ( c ) vs Rhea Ripley - Women’s World Championship

The Liv Morgan Revenge Tour only had one goal: Make Rhea Ripley’s life a living hell. Not only did Liv injure Rhea, forcing her to vacate the Women’s World Championship, but she won that championship in spite of her stealing her man Dominik Mysterio as well as her faction, The Judgement Day. Dominik was in some sort of love triangle for weeks between Liv and Rhea. He made it seem he picked Rhea before SummerSlam until he helped Liv up after her victory because of Dom, he kissed Liv right in front of a distraught Rhea. Ripley’s goal for a while was to get her hands on both Liv and Dom. She finally got her wish at Bash in Berlin when she and her Terror Twin, Damien Priest, defeated Liv and Dom in a mixed tag match. Pinning the World Champion, Liv Morgan, in the process. Damien Priest probably will not be present for the match, but Rhea is now starting some sort of relationship with Jey Uso. Jey evening out the playing field against Dominik could help Rhea regain the Women’s World Championship. However, Liv could get more help from the likes of Carlito and JD McDonagh to take out Uso. Liv Morgan seems more likely to retain.

Winner - Liv Morgan

Damien Priest vs Finn Bálor

This match has been brewing for well over a year. After the new World Heavyweight Championship was established, Finn Bálor was the first challenger for Seth Rollins’ title. Damien Priest won Money in the Bank and kept teasing, cashing in during the match. Distracting Bálor and basically costing him the matches. Priest cashed in his briefcase at WrestleMania and won his first World Championship in WWE. Bálor also won the World Tag Team Championship with JD McDonagh everything seemed okay for the most part. Until that changed at SummerSlam, where Bálor betrayed Priest and caused him to lose his title to Gunther. Finn Bálor was tired of feeling like a sidekick as he felt like Priest was the leader of The Judgement Day. Finn Bálor needs this win if he is going to feel like a big deal. He will probably have help from the rest of Judgement Day, but a clean win over the former World Champion can solidify the dominance he once had in the Black & Gold version of NXT.

Winner - Finn Bálor

Cody Rhodes & Roman Reigns vs The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa & Jacob Fatu)

SmackDown's return to the USA Network opened with Cody Rhodes defending his WWE Championship against Solo Sikoa in a Steel Cage Match. After Cody retained his title, the rest of The Bloodline swarmed the cage and attacked Rhodes, with Jacob Fatu calling the shots. Fatu climbed to the top of the cage for a big dive but was thwarted by Roman Reigns. Reigns and Fatu had an epic stare-down, but Solo made him retreat, with Roman and Cody standing tall. At the end of the show, Roman and Cody were once again attacked by The Bloodline of Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa. Cody signed the contract to make the tag-team match official. This will be Reigns’ first match since WrestleMania, and WWE is going to make sure to protect Jacob Fatu by pinning Solo.

Winner - Rhodes and Reigns
