Best NFL Spread Bets of Week Eight
We are back with the best NFL spread bets of the week. Week Eight is a big week in the NFL. If you don’t know, the NFL Trade Deadline is approaching, and this is a pinnacle time for teams to start separating themselves into contenders and rebuilders. With potentially big-name players on the trade block after this week’s games, it makes it all the more important for franchises with big expectations to start going on a winning streak. So, what are the teams that are going to break out this weekend?
Atlanta Falcons -2.5 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Buccaneers have lost a lot of offensive firepower this past week including Mike Evans and Chris Godwin to injuries. Baker Mayfield has been really good throughout this season, but now he will be going into this game without his top weapons. The Falcons have found a good balance between their run and pass game offensively this season. If this offense can continue its ways with the Buccaneers, I find it tough to see a way that Baker Mayfield can keep up without his receivers.
San Francisco 49ers -4 vs. Dallas Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys have been a soft team all year long. Unfortunately for them, San Francisco is a tough team on both sides of the ball. The 49ers are committed to running the ball offensively and stopping the opponents’ rushing game defensively. With the Cowboys having the worst run game in the league, they will be forced to go to the air game early. However, given what we have seen from Dak Prescott this year suggests that he will turn the ball over potentially several times in this game. If Brock Purdy can avoid turning the ball over himself, the 49ers should build a lead early, and be able to maintain control throughout this game.
Philadelphia Eagles +3 vs. Cincinnati Bengals
The Eagles have been sleepwalking a bit for the past few weeks as they have had several easy matchups including the Browns and the Giants. However, this game will be a true test of whether or not they will compete in the NFC come playoff time. The Bengals have been on fire through the air, but the Eagles’ play style may be a perfect counter to how the Bengals play. The Bengals struggle in the ground game and will thus become dependent on Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase to bail them out. However, the Eagles pass rush is really strong and the Bengals have been unable to keep Joe Burrow upright. If the Eagles can run the ball consistently with Saquon Barkley, they could put some serious pressure on this Bengals team early and even manage to pull off the road win.
