Best Player Props of Week Seven

NFL

Despite the NFL season approaching the midway point of the season there is still a lot of newness taking place that presents an opportunity for people to take advantage of. This includes rookie quarterbacks making their first few starts in the NFL and veteran players returning from injury this week. Players who have a longer track record this season have some really good player prop lines that don’t present a lot of value. However, if you can find a player prop that has a lot of mystery surrounding it, that is where betters can find great value. So what player props are the best values in Week Seven?

Drake Maye Over 26.5 Rushing Yards

As much as I may be skeptical of Maye’s abilities as an NFL quarterback, this is without a doubt a fantastic line to take the over on. Drake Maye in his previous game, where he actually got to start the whole game, put up 38 rushing yards on just five carries. The fortunate thing about rushing yards for quarterbacks is that it doesn’t include the sack yardage they take. So, it doesn’t matter that the Patriots offensive line can’t protect Maye in the pocket. I’m counting on Maye to continue to be a little frantic in his second career start for the Patriots and to use that energy to take off downfield on more than a few occasions against the Jaguars.

Anthony Richardson Over 33.5 Rushing Yards

The Colts are finally getting back Anthony Richardson this week as they look to take on the Miami Dolphins. The Miami defense is really good against the pass, however, they have struggled against the run. The Dolphins haven’t faced a dual-threat quarterback this year, outside of Josh Allen who lit them up so badly he didn’t have to run the ball. I’d expect that Richardson uses his legs early and often in this game as the Colts look to break away from their 3-3 record and make a push for the playoffs.

Chris Boswell Over 1.5 Field Goals Made

Yes, a kicking prop is a best bet for this week. With the Steelers deciding for some reason to start Russell Wilson over Justin Fields, this offense won’t be as effective. This, combined with the Jets’ defense being stout all season long, means that this Steelers’ offense is likely to struggle in the red zone to score touchdowns. The Steelers should also get extra possessions thanks to their defense forcing nearly two turnovers a game. Chris Boswell has been one of the best kickers in the NFL this year, especially in fantasy football, and I’d expect him to get at least two field goals against the Jets.
