Craziest Episode of Monday Night RAW Ever?!

WWE

Last night’s episode of Monday Night RAW, was absolutely off the hook, so much happened that will impact the next few months of storytelling. Some of the events that took place, will directly affect the Money in the Bank premium live event less than three weeks from now in Toronto, Ontario, while others will most likely boil over till SummerSlam. Everything that transpired and was presented may this a top-tier episode of RAW, possibly the craziest episode of all time. It will be extremely interesting to see what happens not only next week on RAW but this upcoming Friday on SmackDown in Chicago.

Seth Rollins Return

It was extremely shocking to see Seth “Frickin” Rollins open up Monday Night Raw. He declared that he hopes to make Monday’s, “Monday Night Rollins” once again, and he will go after the title he once held a couple of months ago, the World Heavyweight Championship. Rollins stated he would enter the Money in the Bank ladder match if that’s what it came down to just to get his championship back. Current champion Damian Priest came out and told Rollins he doesn’t have to climb any ladders or pull down a briefcase because Priest challenged Rollins to a title match at the Money in the Bank live event. Rollins accepted, and the crowd cheered. One of the first matches for Money in the Bank besides the two actual ladder matches will be Seth “Frickin” Rollins vs. Damian Priest for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

After defeating Drew McIntyre at the Clash at the Castle premium live event in Glasgow, Scotland on Saturday, Priest stated at the WWE post-event press conference that many doubted his ability to beat McIntyre. Many will doubt his ability once again at SummerSlam when the leader of “The Judgement Day” could possibly take on Gunther, who won the King of the Ring Tournament and has earned a title shot, which he declared he’ll go after the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Priest said he know he has what it takes to beat anyone in the ring. Can “The Judgement Day’s” leader prove everyone wrong once again by beating Rollins, or will Seth get his title back?

Drew McIntyre Quits the WWE

The Scottish warrior came out to his theme music. Within 40 seconds, McIntyre shocked the crowd, by saying “I can’t do this anymore, screw this company, I quit.” dropped the mic, and left the ring. He got into Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque's face, and walked away, with RAW general manager Adam Pearce chasing behind McIntyre, pleading with him to talk this out. While his departure left many fans speechless, I believe this is just more great storytelling by the WWE.

On Friday, SmackDown takes place in Chicago, McIntyre’s rival CM Punk’s hometown. On Saturday, Punk screwed McIntyre over for the second time, coming out to the ring in referee attire. This distraction cost the Scottish warrior the title match in front of his hometown crowd. Punk is scheduled to make a special appearance on SmackDown. We could possibly see the Scottish warrior try to lay a beat down on Punk in front of his hometown fans. This would set these two up for an epic match at SummerSlam.

Jey Uso and Iyo Sky Become First Qualified for Money in the Bank

This year is the first time WWE superstars must qualify to enter the Money in the Bank ladder match. “Main Event” Jey Uso became the first of six men to qualify after defeating Finn Balor and Rey Mysterio. Iyo Sky will look to win back-to-back Money in the Bank briefcases after she defeated Zelina Vega and Kiana James. Both Uso and Sky surely have a high probability of winning the event and earning a title shot. We will find out the second men and women who qualify for the event on SmackDown.

Uncle Howdy Returns/ Wyatt Six Faction

It’s been a few months of cryptic messages, puzzles, and clues, but finally, Uncle Howdy returned, and with him, his faction known as the “Wyatt Six”. The chilling nearly six-minute promo was certainly one to remember and would make Bray Wyatt proud. It seemed like the new faction wreaked havoc as everyone in the backstage area looked deceased. Howdy, also known as Bo Dallas, is the brother of Bray Wyatt. Dallas and the WWE have done a perfect job recreating Wyatt’s vision, as they brought a few of Wyatt’s characters to life. Bo Dallas as Uncle Howdy, Nikki Cross as Sister Abigal, Erick Rowan as Ramblin Rabbit, Joe Gacy as Huskus the Pig, and Dexter Lumis as Mercy the Buzzard. Over the next few weeks, it should be intriguing to see what this new chilling faction does, and who will be their first opponents.
