Ex-World Tag Team Champions Screwed by Liv Morgan

WWE

Last night on Monday Night RAW, one-half of the World Tag Team champions, The Miz was alongside Michael Cole at the commentating desk. Within the episode, The Miz rushed to leave the commentary table as his tag team partner R-Truth was seemingly convinced by Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan to put their titles on the line against ‘The Judgement Day’ members Finn Balor and JD McDonagh. For the past few weeks, Morgan has tried to stray away Dominik Mysterio from his faction. While in previous episodes, her intentions seemed she may try to end the demise of ‘The Judgement Day’, her involvement in Balor's and McDonagh’s match ultimately gave them the win, and the titles.

R-Truth has had his moments in the WWE where his motives were certainly questionable. Not that he’s trying to be the bad guy, but sometimes, maybe most of the time he’s just not the sharpest tool in the shed. The Miz has to be disappointed in Truth's actions. However, after losing the titles, Truth admitted he was played by Morgan. The Miz and Truth also agreed this run between the two of them is far from over, and they’ll be looking to take back their belts. Perhaps, we may see ‘The Awesome Truth’ contend for the titles at the Money in the Bank premium live event in Toronto, Ontario on July 6th or at SummerSlam on August 3rd.

‘The Awesome Truth’ will have to work their way back to the top of the mountain within RAW’s tag team division. With being a fan favorite, hopefully, they can take back these titles, and add to their already distinguished careers. The Miz is a two-time WWE champion, an eight-time Intercontinental champion, a two-time United States champion, and a nine-time tag team champ. R-Truth holds 54 title reigns with the 24/7 Championship. It will be a battle, especially against ‘The Judgement Day’, but the WWE Universe wants to see ‘The Awesome Truth’ World Tag Team champions once again.
