Five Men and Women Who Could Be the Iron Man/Woman in Upcoming Royal Rumbles

WWE

Being the Iron Man or Iron Woman in the Royal Rumble means entering early and lasting until the end, showcasing incredible stamina and resilience. This wrestler pretty much faces the other 29 opponents in the match, needing to strategize and conserve energy to avoid elimination while also telling the story if they can win at all. This honor is normally given to a trusted fan favorite who knows they can create support from the attending fans. There have been times when the Iron Man and Woman reigned victorious in both respective Rumbles.

Men's Rumble:

  1. Chad Gable

    • Chad Gable has been seen as the workhorse as of late. With his entrance now containing the “You Suck” chants, which used to be for Kurt Angle, being the Iron Man can be a huge spit in the face to those chants. Being a believable Iron Man can probably lead him to a singles championship in some shape or form. He has shown he can be trustworthy with big moments, and being the Iron Man might just be the boost he needs to finally reach stardom. His technical prowess and resilience in the ring make him a formidable opponent, and fans are eager to see him capitalize on this opportunity.

  2. Bron Breakker

    • The current Intercontinental Champion has already established himself in 2024. Bron Breakker could dominate the early stages of the Rumble with his asinine speed and strength. He is still very young and that may be a great thing to be the Iron Man with his possible never-ending stamina. In last year’s match, he reportedly replaced the spot of Brock Lesnar and just did all of the planned spots that were for Lesnar. Imagine what he can do with his own planned spots if he enters very early.

  3. Damian Priest

    • The former World Champion already has a good connection with the WWE fans. An Iron Man performance in the Rumble could enhance his reputation as a favorite. Damian Priest could end up being a key player, using his experience to navigate the chaos and potentially secure another championship opportunity. His unique blend of power and charisma allows him to stand out in the ring, making him a threat to any opponent.

  4. Dominik Mysterio

    • PWInsider’s 2024 Most Hated Wrestler of the Year being the Iron Man in the 2025 Rumble could be hilarious. Dominik Mysterio, could play into the crowd heat he always gets without fail, and use their disdain to fuel his performance and keep himself in the match longer than expected. Maybe the boo’s will turn into cheers the longer he stays. As he embraces his role as a villain, he can showcase a new level of cunning and strategy that might surprise everyone.

  5. Andrade El Idolo

    • Andrade El Idolo made his return in last year’s Rumble and it’s safe to say he hasn’t done much since. El Idolo is still insanely talented and has stamina for days and being the Iron Man can be a great fit for him. If he is the Iron Man; maybe he can achieve success like he did when he was the NXT Champion. A strong performance could help Andrade reclaim his spot among the top talents in WWE.

Women’s Rumble:

  • Dakota Kai

    • Dakota Kai was the fan favorite to become the first Women’s Intercontinental Champion. Since that did not happen, they may be setting up something big for her. Her experience and tactical mind make her a strong candidate for the Iron Woman. She is already beloved by fans, and if she becomes the Iron Woman, a singles title might finally be in her future. Kai’s resilience and ability to adapt in high-pressure situations could be her greatest asset in the Rumble. With the right support from the crowd, she could turn her disappointment into a powerful comeback story.

  • Iyo Sky

    • Iyo Sky is the fan favorite to win the whole thing. Why not have her go all the way? There have been three women who have won the Rumble while having the Iron Woman performance, and Sky might just be the fourth. She has the agility and stamina to last almost the entire match, as well as the support from the fans to win and headline WrestleMania.

  • Roxanne Perez

    • A rising star with a lot of heart, Roxanne Perez has proven she can handle pressure. She had arguably the best year out of the entire WWE women’s division, holding the NXT Women’s Championship for over 250 days. She is currently in a program with Bayley, and they most likely will square off in the Rumble. Perez's determination and skill have endeared her to fans, making her a strong contender to outlast her opponents.

  • Lyra Valkyria

    • Lyra Valkyria already has a wave of momentum after becoming the first-ever Women’s Intercontinental Champion. Her unique style and fierce attitude could surprise many by lasting deep into the match. With her newfound championship status, she could capitalize on her momentum and showcase her skill set, making her a compelling Iron Woman. Valkyria's ability to adapt and innovate in the ring will be crucial as she navigates the unpredictable environment of the Rumble.

  • Bianca BelAir

    • Bianca BelAir would be a natural choice for the Iron Woman spot. She won her first Rumble in 2021 from the number three position, demonstrating that she has what it takes to endure and thrive in such a challenging environment. Her extraordinary athleticism and strength make her a tough opponent to eliminate, and her presence in the Rumble could energize the crowd like no other. With her experience and fan connection, Belair could create unforgettable moments throughout the match.
