Liv Morgan: The Secret MVP of the Women’s Division?

WWE

Liv Morgan may have quietly established herself as the MVP of the Women’s Division so far, especially in recent months. Despite facing criticism for her moves over the years, it’s clear that she has put in the effort to improve her in-ring skills, showcasing a level of dedication that deserves recognition. While her World Championship reigns might have been a little lackluster, her contributions to the division have been impactful, proving that she is much more than just a transitional champion. With each performance, she continues to defy expectations and elevate her standing in the wrestling world.

One of the standout moments for Liv was her performance in the Royal Rumble match, where she lasted over an hour for the second time in three years. Following that, her performance at Elimination Chamber further cemented her status as a serious contender. Starting the match and making it to the final two, only to be eliminated by the impressive Bianca Belair, showcasing her competitive spirit and tenacity. Especially taking a hair whip by Belair, which created a sickening sound and a huge mark on Morgan’s torso. These performances reflect her growth as a competitor and her capacity to engage the audience effectively.

On episodes of Monday Night Raw, Liv has delivered exceptional matches, particularly in tag team matches alongside her Tag Team Champion partner, Raquel Rodriguez. Their chemistry has translated into exciting contests against formidable teams like Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai, showcasing Liv’s versatility and ability to work well with veterans such as those two. These matches not only entertain fans but also help elevate her status within the division, proving that she can hold her own against some of the best in the industry. Her recent match with Jade Cargill on SmackDown in Italy is particularly noteworthy. Morgan not only provided a decent match but also became the first superstar to pin Cargill in WWE, an accomplishment that speaks volumes about her skill and how the company sees her.

Liv Morgan's journey has been one of perseverance and growth, and her recent performances have solidified her position as a key player in the Women’s Division. She is the first superstar to pin Hall of Famer Trish Stratus in the Modern Era. The first to pin Rhea Ripley in two years. As well as the first to pin Ronda Rousey in three years. She may have had some help with those victories, but there is no denying those are very impressive accomplishments. As she continues to evolve, it's clear that Liv Morgan is not just a talented wrestler but a vital force driving the Women’s Division forward.
