MLB All-Star Rosters Officially Announced

MLB

Major League Baseball announced the complete rosters for the 2024 All-Star game on Sunday evening. The American League and National League teams will face off in the mid-summer classic on July 16 in Arlington, Texas. The starters for each squad were announced earlier this week as well, and as expected, both lineups are littered with star power. The Phillies lead the way with seven players selected, including three starters in the infield. The Dodgers are right behind with six selections, and the Cleveland Guardians hold the most AL selections with five. Here are the complete rosters for both teams.

AL Starters:

The headliners from the AL starters are the young duo of Baltimore Orioles, Adley Rutschman, and Gunnar Henderson, who have been a large part of Baltimore’s first-half success.

2B: Jose Altuve

3B: José Ramirez

AL Pitchers:

Chicago White Sox pitcher Garret Crochet gets the well-deserved All-Star selection as he has been one of the lone bright spots for Chicago this season. He leads the league in strikeouts per nine innings, and it will be intriguing to see where he lands at the trade deadline.
