The Best NFL Under Win Total Bets

NFL

Typically, the offseason and preseason are a time of hope for NFL franchises. This optimism is filled by acquisitions whether that be through the draft or in free agency. However, in this league, there is a harsh reality that sets in once the season begins. Well today, we will be evaluating which teams are likely to disappoint and finish below their projected win totals.

Giants Under 6.5 Wins

The Giants last year finished 6-11 and I don’t expect that to get any better following the departure of Saquon Barkley. They did add another nice piece defensively with Brian Burns, who we will talk about later, but offensively they will struggle. The Giants did acquire Malik Nabers who will be a great receiver for this team, but I have no faith in Daniel Jones to be the centerpiece of this offense. In previous years, Saquon took the load off Daniel Jones, but now it will rest with Jones and the passing offense. If the most recent preseason game where Daniel Jones struggled mightily is any indicator for this year, then the Giants are in for a long season.

Panthers Under 5.5 Wins

The Panthers didn’t do much this offseason to improve on either side of the ball as they didn’t have their first-round pick after trading that last year in the Bryce Young deal with the Bears. Additionally, they gave up Brian Burns who is a premier edge rusher to the Giants which will make this defense significantly worse. Their only real free agent signing was Diontae Johnson who is expected to be the first wide receiver when he would be better served as a two or a great third option on another offense. After going 2-15 last year, this team will go as Bryce Young goes, which won’t be to a six-win season.

Patriots Under 4.5 Wins

For starters, the Patriots are in a brutal division. This quarterback situation is one of the worst in the league and there are only a few standout players on this team. Patriots fans can hope that the defense steps up the same way it did last year, but that was under Bill Belichick. Even with Belichick, they finished 4-13 last year. There have been no major improvements, and to top it off, Matthew Judon is no longer a Patriot. Jacoby Brissett and this offense may be the worst in the league as they are without a doubt in a rebuilding year.
