Three Potential Opponents for a Returning Brock Lesnar

WWE

It has been almost a full year since we saw “The Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar competing in the squared circle for WWE. The last time we saw Brock was SummerSlam 2023 when he lost to the current Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. There isn’t an exact timeline for when Brock makes his return, but every time his music hits, the crowd goes wild. Any match Brock Lesnar is in, you can’t help but cheer for him because of how dominant, fast, and explosive he is in the ring. Brock is a former King of the Ring winner, two-time Royal Rumble winner, Money in the Bank ladder match winner, seven-time WWE Champion, three-time Universal Champion, five-time WrestleMania headliner, and nine-time SummerSlam headliner. The biggest highlight of Brock’s career is retiring the Undertaker’s undefeated streak at WrestleMania.

Gunther

“The Ring General” Gunther is the first superstar to come to mind when talking about opponents for Brock Lesnar. This is a match that Gunther has wanted for a long time considering the fact that Gunther thinks of Lesnar as his final boss in WWE. This match would draw a lot of attention from fans considering how physical each of them are. The two did have a faceoff in the 2023 Royal Rumble and they exchanged blows with one another. A matchup between the two could’ve taken place at WrestleMania 39, but Gunther ended up taking on Drew McIntyre and Sheamus while Brock Lesnar took on the “Nigerian Giant” Omos. Hopefully, we see this match down the line and these two end up stealing the show.

Bron Breakker

If I could think of one word to describe Bron Breakker and Brock Lesnar in the same ring, it would have to be “scary.” When these two get angry, they become unhinged and unstoppable. Having these two go up against one another, the crowd will go absolutely berserk watching Breakker and Lesnar tear each other apart. Ever since Bron Breakker arrived on the scene in WWE, he’s reminded me of a younger Brock Lesnar with his quickness and explosiveness. Watching these two run the ropes is scary to think about, but what’s more scary is thinking about the two colliding with one another. I think it’s safe to say the fans would pay good money to see this kind of match up close and in person.

Chad Gable

In my opinion, Chad Gable is debatably one of the strongest superstars on the entire roster. We’ve seen Gable lift up and suplex heavyweight superstars with ease and Brock Lesnar should be no different. If this match were to take place, it would most likely be a dominant match in favor of Brock, but I could see Chad Gable doing some damage to “The Beast.” Both of them have one thing in common, they love suplexing people. At SummerSlam 2014, Brock Lesnar delivered a total of 16 German Suplexes to John Cena in a dominant fashion to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Both of these guys are pure wrestlers from Minnesota and they would put one banger of a match if they were to meet inside the ring.
