What Next for John Cena?

WWE

Last Monday night Raw, the crowd was booing John Cena as loud as they could during the European Tour in Belgium this raised a lot of questions about John Cena’s heel run in the WWE. John Cena was berating the crowd in Brussels, leading to a great promo that he cut, talking about how the fans never thought he was good enough after all the winning he’s done and officially breaking up with all of his fans. In his first-ever heel promo, Cena brought up the fact about him not being a heel or a face with the new WWE regime trying to differentiate from previous management under Vince McMahon, as the company is now being run by Triple H. The Final Boss also brought this up at a press conference at the Elimination Chamber. Which led to a different direction as he talked about playing both a heel and a face.

Now, what does this mean for Cody Rhodes? As this is being led to being one of the biggest main events in WrestleMania history, Cena takes on Rhodes for the WWE Championship. Cody came out after Cena’s promo coming face-to-face with his WrestleMania opponent. Rhodes talked about his dislike for this new John Cena, telling John that he better step up his game at WrestleMania.

This episode of Monday Night Raw, posed a lot of questions for the Road to WrestleMania including if Cena is going to win the title or if Cody Rhodes going to retain it at WrestleMania 41. Is Cena going to continue being a heel or is he going to turn baby face soon after WrestleMania? Some of these questions will be answered during the Road to WrestleMania. This segment also confirmed that WWE is going to a different route for heels, as in the past many heels didn’t give a reason why their heel turn was justified, now under new management from Triple H, the heel has a justified reason why they’ve turned on the crowd. During this WrestleMania main event matchup, will the Final Boss be in the corner of John Cena? Will Cody turn heel during their WrestleMania match? Will Cena embrace Cody finally passing the torch after their match?
