What Will Happen Next Week on Raw?

WWE

It was announced by the WWE that John Cena and Cody Rhodes will be at Monday Night Raw next week as the segment will be about John Cena’s heel turn at the Elimination Chamber that happened a few weeks ago. This will be an interesting segment because WWE is trying to have Cody get over as a baby face, as was expected of him. When Cena turned heel, the crowd responded with weeks of relentless boos, raising several questions about the upcoming segment. Will Cena debut a new theme song, or will he attack Cody Rhodes again in the segment, establishing himself as more of a heel? Justifying his turn, this will mark Cena’s second run as a heel, with his first occurring back in 2003. Since it’s been so long since Cena last played a villain in WWE, it will be intriguing to see him embrace this role later in his career. As for Cody, what will the road to WrestleMania look like for him going into the segment?

With WrestleMania season approaching, tensions are expected to reach new heights as both men look to prove themselves on WWE's biggest stage. Will Cena take personal shots at Cody, claiming that he helped Cody win that title at WrestleMania 40, or will The Rock make his unannounced return to Monday Night Raw? Will Cena win his 17th WWE title? During his WrestleMania 41 Match against Cody, these questions will be answered on Monday Night Raw. The plan for this segment will try to bolster Cody's babyface run, finally giving him a good title defense against a great wrestler as he has held a title for a year now establishing himself as a great babyface in the company as they have been looking for a main event babyface for almost two years now. Will Cena ultimately lose to Cody Rhodes, passing the torch and cementing Cody’s legacy as a great WWE champion? Or will Cena capture his record-breaking 17th world title and align himself with the Final Boss in what could be his final run in the company?

Will John Cena talk about disappointing matches with Solo Sikoa and Roman Reigns? Or will he berate the crowd despite being one of the most beloved figures in the WWE Universe, known for his record-breaking number of Make-A-Wish appearances? It will be interesting to see if Cena decides to go down the path of being a heel and berating the crowd, as many heels have done in the past. WWE has done a good job with Cena’s heel turn by setting up a compelling storyline involving Cody and Cena heading to WrestleMania. This buildup has created an ideal path for both wrestlers on the road to WrestleMania.
