Bron Breakker Wins Second IC Title Over “Main Event” Jey Uso
Well, no yeet. On the Monday, October 21st episode of Monday Night Raw, “Main Event” Jey Uso would fall in his Intercontinental Championship rematch against the badass Bron Breakker. The younger Uso twin' has been trying to stay away from The Bloodline drama, but at last, Solo Sikoa and his goons tried to “help” Jey, yet him being distracted by all the surrounding family members ultimately lost him his title. After 28 days, Jey is no longer a singles champion. This is most likely setting up a reunion with Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso as they’ll clash with the new deadlier Bloodline at Survivor Series WarGames.
A few days ago, I created a list of three opponents who could take down Jey. While Bron wasn’t on that list, some of those opponents could have a great opportunity to become the new IC Champion. Breakker now heads into his second reign as Intercontinental Championship, becoming one of a handful of superstars on the active roster to have been IC champ multiple times. During his match with “Main Event” Jey Uso, Bron tactically took care of Jey while he was being distracted by this newly formed Bloodline. Jacob Fatu would Samoan drop Jey into the announce table. Then, Bron took the IC Champ back into the ring and speared him before getting the three count to become the new Intercontinental Champion.
One of the biggest questions will be now dominant will Breakker’s second reign be as the IC champ? Many thought his run with the belt would be for a considerable time as he has the potential to be as dominant as Gunther was during his time as Intercontinental Champion. Will Breakker be put on a premium live event show like Crown Jewel or Survivor Series WarGames? His debut on Raw over a couple of months ago, Bron’s popularity has skyrocketed with the mainstream audience and he could become a household name sooner rather than later. It will certainly be interesting to see the directions of both Bron and Jey and how their stories will play out.
