Eagles vs. Giants Week Seven Preview

NFL

This weekend is another big weekend at MetLife Stadium. The New York Football Giants will take on the Philadelphia Eagles. This game has consistently set its stakes high on both sides. Not only is it because of how big the rivalry is between these two teams, but it’s also because it is Saquon Barkley’s first time playing against his former team on his current team, the Eagles.

The Eagles and the Giants have a history of playing one another. The first time these two teams met was way back in 1933. Currently, the Eagles lead the series. They stand at a total of 93 wins against the Giants. The Giants have only beaten them 88 times, and they have played one another. In history, they have only had two ties against one another. While they have played each other 183 times over the years, they have played in five postseason games against one another. They last met in January when the Giants beat them before the postseason began.

The Giants face significant challenges this weekend, and the pressure is on. They've had a tough week, losing a key player on their offensive line and facing a worsening kicker situation. The team is under scrutiny, and the stakes are high in the Big Apple. The Giants have been playing well and have a chance against Philadelphia this weekend. They just need to continue playing the way they have been. Daniel Jones needs to make his connections with his receivers just as he has been. The Giants have been playing pretty smartly, and there is no doubt they will do okay against one of their league rivals.

As the game approaches, the Giants have been strategizing their player lineup. With Andrew Thomas and Malik Nabers currently out, the team is making crucial decisions about their roster. The offensive line, while not in shambles, is facing significant challenges. The defensive line should have no problem blocking the Eagles. They have done well so far this season. Brian Burns and Dexter Lawrence have been building their wall. They had multiple sacks in their last game. They will hopefully be able to push through and sack the Eagles quarterback this coming weekend and continue their streak of being the leading team of this level in their division.

The Giants shouldn’t have any issues with this game. They should be suitable as long as they figure out their kicker situation. That was the only downfall of last weekend's game. This week will hopefully turn into something better. Next week, the team will take off to London for a game against the Carolina Panthers. Hopefully, they will be in good spirits if all goes well this week.
