Fatal Four-way for the NXT Women’s Championship at Stand & Deliver
Stand & Deliver season is upon us. Last week on NXT, the main event for Stand & Deliver was announced as a triple-threat match between Oba Femi, Trick Williams, and Je’Von Evans. On the April 8th episode of NXT, NXT Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer commentated and watched a match between Jaida Parker and Jordynne Grace. Parker slapped Vaquer and inadvertently, Vaquer hit Grace. All three women began to brawl and then suddenly, Giulia appeared. We haven’t seen Giulia since she lost the NXT Women’s Championship at Roadblock. While both Vaquer and Giulia fended off Parker and Grace, we got a moment where the two best friends, the former champion Giulia had a stare-down with the current champ Vaquer. All of a sudden, Giulia hit Vaquer with a Northern Lights Bomb, beginning the start to what should be an epic heel turn by Giulia.
Vaquer still had the option to pick her Stand & Deliver opponent. When general manager Ava asked who she wanted to pick. La Primera replied with all of them. This became official later on in the night. At Stand & Deliver it will be Vaquer defending her NXT Women’s Championship against Giulia, Jordynne Grace, and Jaida Parker. To much speculation, anything could happen. Vaquer could retain her title in a memorable fashion. Giulia could win and could go on an epic heel turn and become one of, if not the top women’s heel in NXT. Grace may be champion as the NXT Women’s Championship has been passed to all the best women’s talent coming through NXT. Miss Parker could also take the title and finally be the face of an ever-growing, and evolving women’s division.
The fact is the NXT Women’s division is stacked with some of the best wrestling talent in the world. All four of these women are worthy of holding the prestgeious title. All four appeared in the Women’s Royal Rumble back on February 1st. While all four have been fantastic down in NXT, it would be awesome to see at least one of them appear on the main roster as we get closer to the WWE Draft season. This match will certainly be one of the best matches of Stand & Deliver and could possibly be the most memorable.
