Saturday Night’s Main Event Just Got A Whole Lot More Interesting

On the November 29th episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Kevin Owens cut a promo, speaking out on what occurred against him from the original Bloodline in the past. He spoke about why people still favored Cody Rhodes and said that everyone would see the monster he truly is. At Saturday Night’s Main Event at Nassau Veterans Memorial Colosseum on Long Island, Owens announced that he would be challenging Rhodes for his WWE Undisputed Championship. With this match and the finals for the inaugural Women’s United States Championship occurring, Saturday Night Main Event just got a whole lot more interesting.

Nassau Veterans Memorial Colosseum held the first-ever Saturday Night’s Main Event and it’s only right it comes back to the place where it all began. When it airs on December 14th, we could assume Randy Orton will intervene in this match in some way, whether that’s to stop the fighting, help Cody, or turn on Cody to help Kevin Owens. We can also assume this match between Rhodes and Owens will not be like their match at Bash at Berlin. In their first championship match between these two, we saw Owens become extremely hesitant, not going the distance or doing what he should have done against the current champion to take over in pivotal moments. Now, the Prize Fighter is going to do everything it takes to take that championship away from his former friend.

Saturday Night’s Main Event is now starting to shape up to be an extremely interesting show. This could be a show that ends WWE 2024 on an incredible note. Once every match is confirmed for this event taking place on December 14th, we could see this at one of the premier shows of the year for WWE. Rhodes vs. Owens has brought this Saturday Night Main Event into a prominent spotlight that many fans will be eager for.
