Survivor Series WarGames Predictions

WWE

We are heading into one of the biggest premium live events for WWE, Survivor Series. WarGames became branded with Survivor Series in 2022 and has become a hit with the WWE Universe. Last year, during Survivor Series WarGames we saw the return of not only Randy Orton but CM Punk as well. Could we see The Rock return as well after his appearance at Bad Blood? This year’s matches should certainly be intriguing and fun to watch. There are so many directions the WWE could go with after what occurs at Survivor Series. It’s time to predict who’s coming out on top in one of the biggest premium live events of the year.

LA Knight vs. Shinsuke Nakamura - United States Championship

If we see Shinsuke Nakamura lose this match, his time in the WWE might as well be over then. Nakamura just had his first match since April on SmackDown against Andrade and when Nakamura got the win, LA Knight came out to attack him. However, this newly formed Nakamura sprayed black mist at the champion’s face. This is the one match on the card that has the least amount of storytelling behind it. Knight is highly over with the fans, but Nakamura can’t afford to lose either. I can’t see Knight losing his title nor can’t I see Nakamura losing cleanly. I believe LA Knight will win this match via disqualification.

Winner - LA Knight via Disqualifcation

Bron Breakker vs. Ludwig Kaiser vs. Sheamus - Intercontinental Championship

We have seen the story play out between these three for the last few months on Monday Night Raw. Bron Breakker has beef with Ludwig Kaiser, while Kaiser and Sheamus are feuding while Sheamus and Breakker have gotten at each other’s throats. Kaiser and Sheamus have both interrupted one another in their respective Intercontinental Championship matches against Breakker. I think we are way too early in Bron’s second reign with the IC title to see him lose it again. While I do believe all three men will still have beef with one another after this match concludes, it will be Sheamus who continually bouts for that Intercontinental Championship. I say, Bron Breakker retains, but will eventually lose the title to Sheamus, whether that’s at the Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, or at WrestleMania.

Winner - Bron Breakker

Gunther vs. Damian Priest - World Heavyweight Championship

Clearly, Gunther is having low morale issues and a problem with his confidence is all a part of his story, right? Damian Priest’s confidence might be the highest it’s ever at, but surely there’s no way he’s recapturing his World Heavyweight Championship from The Ring General. Lately, there have been these asterisks hanging over the head of Gunther and his career. Gunther’s win over Randy Orton at King of the Ring, but he overcame and defeated Orton at Bash at Berlin. Gunther’s loss to Sami Zayn at WrestleMania XL, however, Gunther defeated Zayn in a match for the World Heavyweight Championship on Raw. Now, Gunther defeated Damian Preist at SummerSlam due to Finn Balor interfering. If Gunther can defeat Priest again, I think Gunther will show a level of confidence we have never seen before. I believe Gunther will get the win, and his confidence will be at an all-time high. It’s going to take one man to shut down Gunther’s title reign, that man being a retiring John Cena.

Winner - Gunther

Women’s WarGames Match

There’s no way the Women’s babyface team is winning this match. There are too many internal problems between these five women. There is no trust between this team, and these women truly do not like each other even though they are all teamed up for the same reason. It’s clear to me that the Women’s heel team led by Liv Morgan will win this match. It wouldn’t make sense to have both women champions on the same team and then lose. However, I think it’s time we see Tiffany Stratton cash in her Money in the Bank contract. I believe we’ll see a triple-threat match involving both the Women’s World Champion in Liv Morgan and the WWE Women’s Champion in Nia Jax. This is something that has never been done in the WWE before and I think it’s time we see something along the lines of this scenario. So, I think Team Liv Morgan will come out on top, but Tiffany Stratton will cash in her Money in the Bank contract against her ally Nia Jax.

Winner - Team Liv Morgan

Men’s WarGames Match

With Jacob Fatu winning the advantage for the New Bloodline of Friday Night SmackDown against “Main Event” Jey Uso, and with the return of Paul Heyman, I think it’s clear we’ll see the team of The Original Bloodline gets the win. I don’t think it happens any other way but the team of the Original Bloodline winning then The Rock comes out onçe again like he did at Bad Blood. The only question is this time will it be a quick two-second hand gesture, or will Rock go to the ring and claim what side he stands for? CM Punk is certainly the difference-maker even if this team has Roman Reigns, Orginal Tribal Chief on it. Punk has just gone through a brutal Hell in the Cell against Drew McIntyre at Bad Blood, he knows how to survive in these types of matches and will do everything to avenge his friend in Paul Heyman.

Winner - Team Original Bloodline
