The Dark Angel vs. Beautiful Madness; Who Wins Both Titles at Roadblock?
On the most recent episode of NXT, three matches were announced for NXT Roadblock which will take place March 11th at The Theatre in Madison Square Garden. Arguably the most intriguing comes of course from the greatest women’s division in all of wrestling. NXT Women’s North American Champion Stephanie Vaquer will take on NXT Women’s Champion Giulia in a winner-takes-all match. The winner, will walk out of Roadblock and head into Stand & Deliver with both women’s championships. This is an absolute dream match, and we have been waiting for this moment since both women signed their NXT contracts. The biggest question now comes in the shape of who walks out on March 11th with both championships in hand. The Dark Angel or Beautiful Madness?
There are many reasons why both women should walk out with both belts at Roadblock. They’re both spectacles in the ring and put on an amazing performance every week on NXT. These two hold up the NXT Women’s Division and even participated in the Royal Rumble over a month ago. It’s clear Vaquer and Giulia both will hold many accolades within WWE but this feud steaming ahead has the whole WWE universe's attention. Giulia has not had a proper run as NXT Women’s Champion by all accounts. She defeated Roxanne Perez at New Year’s Evil then defended the title in a fatal four-way against Perez, Cora Jade, and Bayley. While this is the feud we’ve all wanted to see, does it seem a little too premature? With Giulia as champion, it has seemed like Vaquer has taken a back seat in a way just because she’s holding a midcard title. Yet, this upcoming match between the two brings all that talk to a close as the stakes have risen substantially.
This match needs to be the main event at Roadblock. These two women risking both titles in the best division in the world will leave so much hype and anticipation handing into Stand & Deliver.
