What Has Changed at Jets Training Camp Since Last Year

NFL

The Jets have brought back a similar identity from last season to this one, with a few new additions to the roster. New York made huge noise last offseason, bringing in future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers and surrounded him with a few of his favorite options. To top it off, the Jets headlined the offseason’s Hard Knocks documentary, allowing the entire NFL fandom to get a closer look at what New York had for the 2023-24 season. With a new face, energy, and cameras all around, the Jets were new and improved but may have been a bit caught up in all of the surrounding elements.

This season, many of the same faces have returned with the same goal, but perhaps a different mindset and work ethic. Without the outside distractions and the role of being the NFL’s newest, shiny team, the Jets can put their full focus on what’s coming this season. For their QB and leader, it’s one task, “The goal is New Orleans. It has to be the goal.” With the return of Rodgers and the Jets more hidden in the shadows, New York looks to bring home a Super Bowl.

It’s no secret that the Jets have gone all in. After a disappointing year, there’s less pressure on the expectations for New York. Now gaining multiple players back from injury, it’s up to the Jets to rally around the group of guys they believe can get the job done. They look to gain the attention of the NFL world during the season and keep that momentum through the year. All-Pro cornerback Sauce Gardner sums up the ambition of the Jets this season, saying, “How we perform in training camp has to align with the highest standard.”
